My fonts on Chromium got fucked
up tonight, and I have no clue as to how or why. I managed to fix it though, by placing a custom config file in /etc/fonts/conf.d
Basically Chromium was replacing M$ fonts on web pages with crappily-rendered fonts (full hinting). I edited the file so that hinting was slight, Courier was replaced with Droid Sans Mono, and Arial was replaced with FreeSans. The “10-chromium.conf” file that I used can be downloaded from this page:
